Major League Tragedy

This week I was compelled, not to write about real estate or the future of are housing market, but something that has nothing to do with real estate. It is about a young man that accomplished every little leagers dream growing up in this country. At age 22 Nick Adenhart a rookie pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels was considered one of the best porspect pitchers in major league baseball. Nick Adenhart was picked by the Angels in the 14th round of the 2004 draft a far cry from the top prospect he and others planned on him to be, because of a major elbow surgery slowing his dream down ,but with strength and perserverance he made his dream come true.
On Thursday the 9th 2009 After winning the Oakland A's Nick Adenhart and three of his friends were struck by a drunk driver running a red light in Orange County California. The drivers blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit. It was a sad day for the MLB fans and also myself being an Angel fan growing up in Southern California rooting for the Angels of the 80's.
Nick will be missed by all
